For as long as mankind has existed violence has been ever on our doorstep. It needs no invitation as it is genetic and within all of us. The difference is what it takes to bring it out of you or I. For some it is little things while for others it is one huge trespass or other on one’s sensibilities. Nevertheless, we all possess the tendency.
What can throttle violence? Faith and faith only. It is faith which leads us to understand how small each of us is. Those who think themselves large and immune to faith are people such as Hitler. On one side is God and on the other Satan. Unfortunately, many are they who believe in neither much to a result as yesterday. Faith trumps politics because it has to for any type of peace. Warring sides, even if one side is docile and thoughtful, that side is found and run down by none other than the great influencer of our times, aforementioned.
I ask you to consider this as you go about your day, week or month. Consider how the one who introduced us all to His Father after the Jews denied him was maliciously killed with a Crown of Thorns. Charlie, though not of the same stature, was one of the martyred. Time does not exist for those of faith and death is only the opening of a door to better things. Bear this in mind as you denounce or accept my words.
