I tend to look at this world from a scriptural point of view. After all, I started reading the bible at age twelve. At that age I understood about 10% of what I read but it is odd how certain things said in that book remained with me through adulthood, Vietnam combat, and on into old age. Especially the “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.” I think this has been called, “The Golden Rule.” Be nice and expect nice back, for those who recently graduated from University.
The bible is now ostracized in most colleges. A shame is this. a crying shame because the result is what we see in young people nowadays. No matter the race or where a person comes from if you go to college you are taught the opposite of what God told us He expects from each of us. It doesn’t matter the religion either if God is taught and His word, the bible.
I have a membership on X and, to be honest, the majority that I see posted there is click bait. Click bait is shameless in that it attempts to appeal to the coarseness of humanity and gives some kind of shaded glory to those who thrive on it. Pathetic, is one word for those who love to critique as shameful the piercing and marking of a human body. God made each of our bodies a temple and this was reiterated by Jesus. Too bad, So sad. The way of our world is far off the mark these days. One might even say, devilishly off.
