Of Note

I would like to reassure those who do not know that the bible is the truth. Does it agree with science or, does science agree with the bible? They are disparate. However, and most assuredly, science is of mankind and the bible is of God. We are not speaking of being on the same plain here. I myself, did not agree with the bible at age fifteen. Rather, I looked to science because they were, for me at that time, the “foremost authority.”

Yet, I knew of people who did read the bible and based their life on it and began comparing the life style. Either way, most were good people but I soon noticed that people who were grossly immoral did not read or understand the bible. For a time I found myself on the same side as the grossly immoral. Boy, was I!

I don’t need to go into my immorality as it is the same as others and is predictable and obvious. However, what I had read long ago in the bible reached out and grabbed me during a time that I was sinking fast into a horrible death spiral. God pulled me back, returned my health to me, and set me on a path that has led me here. I can hear the cheers of: Whoopee! Nah, I don’t hear cheers, I hear sighs of: Here we go again.

I wanted to jot this down as I find myself wanting to fill in the blanks since Charlie Kirk’s murder. Charlie found God in a way different from the way I found God. In my experience we all find God in different ways. What matters is, of course, that we find God at all and in the climate of this world now which is not far short of murderous. I will tell you that this is all part and parcel of prophecy as written and as hard to take as Charlie’s needless death was it will happen more and more in the coming years. The change that has come to this world since I was a child is mortifying. In no small part, this is why I took on the responsibility of writing this at Xog Web. If I can reach one person here it is worth the effort. This from one who was lost to one who is humbled by the engine that is God.
