As a person matures you would think that that process is learning boundaries and no longer trying to push through what can turn out to be really dumb actions. Even if you have a professional instructor to teach you how to perform what amounts to a trick, it can lead to injury or death. Was it worth it? You can’t ask a dead person. Oh, you can try but if you get an answer, hang up.
I was a scuba diver, still am, but I don’t do that at my age now. Folks as old as I am still do but I figured: Why do something I wasn’t sure of with only a few years left? I wasn’t twelve when I figured that, I was sixty-seven, wrecked back and not in the best of physical trim at that time. I know that if a person wants to take the risk they will go for it. Trouble with that is the experience of seeing people like that end up in the hospital, if they’re lucky. Never run into machine gun fire if you want to go home.
I don’t know, I guess you’d have to have been there but thank the above that you didn’t have to go there. Same for silly tricks.
