Don’t Mind Me

There are many ways to interpret what life is about but until you find yourself old you probably haven’t taken the proper time or found the best reasons to feel good about your life. Life is odd, isn’t it? Not odd in the way of “being odd” or acting out of step with reality but the surprises that come along, good and bad, make most people stop and think about themselves in way of their longevity.

If you’re in your twenties or thirties you have been plugging away just like I did except you may not have gone off to war. Doing this, liking that, finding out new things or bumping into really fine individuals here and there in your travels. You’ve met your share of people who are not so fine also. Ain’t it a kick in the pants, life? Nope, not if you’re serious about what comes after. Stop and think, how come anyone believes in something more and have thought this for eons? Exactly why do we think there has to be more? Now, if this thought never occurred to you it is time to sit down in the park and consider where you are and what you’re doing. Pick a park, any park. Hell, even your bathroom is fine if parks are trashed in your neck of the woods.

There is a very fine line between reality and our thought process as concerns us, you and I. I include myself gratis as this is something I learned to consider around twelve. I spent my whole life looking for a thing, a something, about life that had been right in front of my face the whole time. The earth, the stars, the universe full of Heavenly bodies all in some kind of order which we cannot discern so we throw our astronomers hat at it and call it theory. Why does not Jupiter bump into Uranus? Why doesn’t the moon go its own way? How come the sun has never gotten one heck of a lot hotter?

Think on these pitiful analogies and I will write again of this. Soon, God willing and the creek don’t rise.
